Years ago, I lived in Lake Placid, NY while training for the Winter Olympic sport of Skeleton. I returned recently for a "vocal visit" to North Country School and #CampTreetops. What a magical place! My actual memories of adventuring in the Adirondack Mountains helped craft the story I was to tell. Let places, people and perceptions help color your reads and bring them to life!
