Another perk of going home, the archives from your parent's attic. Fun to see these tears from the beginning of my golf career. My first golf coach was Wilbert Ponder who founded Fir State Golf Club in 1947, the same year that Jackie Robinson integrated Major League Baseball. Our home course --shared by World Golf Hall of Fame / PGA TOUR Hall of Famer Fred Couples-- was Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill in Seattle, Washington.
