Today's #TopTipTuesday: Invest in high quality headphones!
Let's keep this simple. We're in the business of vocalizing, right? Generating sounds, weaving stories, motivating consumers and constituents? Right. Which means we must attend to the nuances of our voice(s) and room tones / background noise(s). We must truly listen during the edit and that's only possible with quality "cans." One note of caution, avoid "noise canceling" headphones as they are true to their name -- concealing the textures and variance that we need to actually hear as true artists. Go ahead, phone it in!
