What an honor to join the The Recording Academy 2025 New Member Class — an inspiring global community of creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music! As a member, I now have a voice in the GRAMMY Awards process and a platform to advocate for our industry, support my peers, and grow in my own musical journey. #IAmTheAcademy

Growing up in the Seattle arts community has undoubtedly influenced much of my life. Having mentors like jazz great Ray Brown helped me see, hear and truly understand the musicality in all things - sports, politics, culture, education, healing, community and service. And spending formative young adult years working at the famed Dimitriou's Jazz Alley sealed the deal. Thank you to all the musicians and industry professionals who’ve provided so much support and inspiration over the years and to my family for instilling the love of music starting with my very first viola. No, scratch that, it started with the recorder!
