Today's #TopTipTuesday: Put a cork in it!

This tip comes to you second hand via ADR master Karen Huie!

As part of your warm-up routine, or even before distinct auditions, put a cork just between your teeth and read copy. The impediment will no doubt allow slobber to runneth freely but --more importantly-- it will force your lips to work around the cork while you speak. When you read the copy subsequently without the cork, the delivery is defined, crisp and fluid! Try it, you might like it! Oh, and where does one source corks? Well, after you've finished your red or white, simply save the cork. And if you're a non-drinker, like I am, you can purchase new corks from wine shops and some home decor stores.
